RE Generators - CEA (Technical Standards for Connectivity to the Grid) Regulations, 2007
A meeting was held at CEA on 31.12.2020 regarding compliance of various provisions in the CEA (Technical Standards for Connectivity to the Grid) Regulations, 2007 as amended. Thereafter, in the meeting, it was decided that wind power projects (WPPs) for which bids were submitted before 06.02.2019 and which are getting commissioned in the next few months (by 31.10.2021) may be permitted grid connectivity on submission of requisite Undertaking by WPPs with commitment of furnishing the Test reports (incl. Fault Ride through (FRT) test reports) by 31.10.2021 as compliance of various provisions of above Regulations. The above consensus was arrived as a special case for timely commissioning of WPPs till next high wind season of 2021 (i.e. Oct’21).
In view of the above, the various RE developers are requested to furnish requisite documents/test reports as per the details below:

Detailed modelling data for RE generating units as per the format available on CTU website (CON-4 additional data)
Field Test reports based on which the above undertakings / certificates have been submitted along with validated data models.*

Item (iv): By 31.10.2021
If CON-6 is already signed, all documents to be submitted immediately.
*Test reports must clearly indicate compliance of the requirements as stipulated in the CEA (Technical Standards for Connectivity to the Grid) Regulations, 2007 and its amendments thereof.
